Imatra Big Band is a versatile and energetic jazz orchestra based in South Karelia, actively performing with a wide-ranging repertoire. The orchestra’s current conductor, Antti Rissanen (b. 1975), is one of the key figures in Finland’s big band scene – an experienced trombonist, composer, arranger, and educator who has led Imatra Big Band since 2004.
